Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1: Access the Alarm Menu

  • From the main menu, select the "Alarm" option to begin configuring motion detection settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Video Detection

  • Choose "Video Detection" from the left-hand menu, then click on the "Motion Detection" tab at the top.

Step 3: Enable Motion Detection

  • Select the channel from the drop-down menu next to "Channel."
  • Check the box next to "Enable" to activate motion detection.
  • Also, check the box next to "Record Channel" to enable recording when motion is detected.
  • Click on "Setting" next to "Region" to define the area for motion tracking.

Step 4: Define Motion Detection Areas

  • Highlight the areas in red where you want the system to track motion.
  • Click "OK" to confirm your selection.

Step 5: Configure Additional Motion Detection Options

  • Select "More" at the bottom of the menu.

  • Select "Schedule" on the left, then "Record" at the top.

  • Click on the "Setting" button next to any day of the week to configure the recording schedule.

Step 9: Configure Weekly Recording Schedule

  • Check the "All" box to enable the schedule for all days of the week.
  • Check the "Motion" box for "Period 1" to specify that motion detection should trigger recording during this time.
  • Click "OK" to save the schedule.

Step 10: Save the Recording Schedule

  • Click "Apply" at the bottom of the page to save the recording schedule settings.

Step 11: Ensure Automatic Recording Mode

  • Select "Record Mode" on the left.
  • Make sure "Auto" is enabled for the appropriate channel(s) to allow automatic recording based on motion detection.
  • Click "Apply" to save these settings.

Step 12: Verify Motion Detection Recording Setup

  • Click on the "Main Menu" icon at the top right, then select "Search."
  • Check the box next to the channel on the right.
  • You should see yellow lines or bars indicating the scheduled motion detection recording times.
